Rehlatul Iman ~ Journey Of Faith

20th-21st Jan '07

Really had a great time cycling and making new friends from my great group; the Effers!
The whole night journey was nice but the journey back home was excruciatingly suffering.
And hate photographing at nite due to the lack of available light; making the pics look blurry.

hey, nice pics! Thu 25-Jan-2007 16:13

Water Play

3rd-5th Jan '07

I love this shot which was taken during NTU Silat Teambonding Camp.
Tried to capture the spirit of childhood fun that exists in all of us though age is not on our side.

Luckily my camera was not caressed by the splashing waves or else...

25th Dec '06

While the world celebrated Christmas, my Silat friends came together to help prepare for a Day Camp for Darul Ma'wa Children Home which was to take place the next day.
The three pinatas were made on that day.
The photo was then edited as a backdrop for NTU Silat Website.http://ntu-silat.sampasite.com/

Light Play

23rd Dec '06

On that same night, did an experiment with slow shutter speed again.
Light source used was just a small led light.
Two buddies tried to spell their names but still need to get use to triggering the shots at the correct moment.
Will try again next time.

Light Flow

23rd Dec '06

Due to a brief respite from the torrential rain, went out for a bicycle ride from noon till night.
Shot was taken at an overhead bridge with the camera propped on the railing.
To prevent extra shakes when pressing the trigger a 3sec timer was utilised.

Rain

18th Dec '06

Rain had been relentless during the last few days of the year.
Captured this using really slow shutter speed to try get the motion of the raindrops hurling onto the ground.

Putra Mosque

Putra Mosque Architecture
Putra Mosque Potrait

9th Dec '06

Putra Mosque or Masjid Putra in Malay language, is Putrajaya's principal mosque. Construction of the mosque began in 1997 and was completed two years later. It is located next to Perdana Putra which houses the Malaysian Prime Minister's office and man-made Putrajaya Lake. In front of the mosque is a large square with flagpoles flying Malaysian states' flags ~ Wikipedia

One of the most finest, intricately designed and aesthetically pleasing mosques i've been to. The architecture was simply awesome. Insya-Allah i'll be back to capture more images of this marvelous iconic religious structure. Sat 16-Dec-2006 14:36
