As I was taking photograph of the Twin Towers from the main entrance of KLCC, I noticed an entourage of gleaming-looking black BMWs leaving the building.
From what I heard, the VIPs were from an Arab nation. Maybe they were discussing about oil.

Went to KL last weekend to buy stuff for my Sis's wedding preparation.
A trip to KL without paying a visit to the architectural marvel KLCC is like going to Thailand without having a taste of the tongue-burning tom yam. 
Instead of posting a shot of the twin towers, I've included photos of different beautiful designs that can be found around KLCC.

Silat Pengantin... An artistic exhibition...

Acting as ushers, a few of us from NTU Silat Club participated in the Silat Pengantin Exhibition which was held at Taman Warisan Melayu. The main reason for this exhibition was to display the artistic side of Silat to the public and tourists.
And as usual my job was to document the whole day's activities. As the exhibition was held inside the main hall, the lighting was very dim and combined with my lack of skill shooting in low-lighting condition, most of the pictures were grainy (need to use high ISO); and poor. 
But still it was a great learning process and I truly enjoyed the whole experience. WOoHOo!

First ever photo-taking nights out for me. Armed with a tripod and my trusty camera and flanked by two lovely friends, we set out from Raffles Place to Esplanade and took shots of anything and everything. Basically it was an experimental excursion which allowed me to tinker with the shutter speed and aperture.

Lions versus Tigers

A truly emotional match for both set of supporters from the two ends of Causeway.
In the end the results went to the home team.
A very wet day but risked taking photographs as you couldn't keep a photographer away from his camera.
All in all it was at first difficult to take photos and to keep track of the game.
But the hoarse voice at the end combined with a few beautiful shots showed that a compromise had been brokered.
