While my fellow Silat team members were busy training their butts off for the just concluded NUS Silat Invitational '07, yours truly were busy taking shots of their suffering countenances. Sometimes it's good to be injured. Tried to frame them within the hurdle, but sadly my Coach's face was block by it. Aiyah!

Feels good to be back after a long break.
Been really busy since the conclusion of the examination season and the trend looks to continue with the upcoming NUS Silat Invitational '07.
Will update soon once I buy a new mouse as the old one died on me a few weeks back.
Things that had been done:
1. Exams (17/4 - 4/5)

3. NTU Silat IVP Training Camp (14/5 - 17/5)

6. NTU Bike Rally '07: A 128km Journey Around Singapore (26/5 - 27/5)
7. Sick and injured
Phew...
The aboved shot was taken during the examination period. It was during dusk and was about to take my ablution when a brief glance towards the setting sun displayed a stunning hue encompassing the whole electromagnetic spectrum. Such great creation by Him. Well frankly this shot didn't really do justice to its real beauty. More practice needed I guess. And to those who have posted their well-wishes here, a big thanks go out to all of you. I'll surely visit your fps again I promise. Jazakallah khairan kathiran!

Whoa! It's getting hot in here. Heat from the F1 fever that's emanating from up north in Sepang has diffused all the way here. Went to Raffles Place to initially photograph my buddy displaying his driving skill in the RBS Grand Prix Challenge. But in the end its too irresistable to miss this once in a blue moon opportunity to get my hands dirty driving an F1 Williams racing car simulator. Well I did pretty ok considering I've no valid driving license and managed to smash my machine onto the sidewalls a few times. Well maybe the Williams team may want to consider me becoming their driver...

Finally, I had the opportunity to take a few shots of this amazing extraterrestrial object since I bought my camera. This sheer beauty of Allah's creation never fails to catch my eyes as it radiates its warmth glow. Fortunately for me a few hours after taking the shots, the heavens started to open up.

Well for a change I'm not putting up any shots of mine for today's entry.
Instead it's a photograph of a capoeira practitioner executing a handstand and a split.
Basically, I've set a goal of trying to achieve this nearly impossible body motion after I came across this website detailing about strength training using your own body weight at http://beastskills.com/.
Therefore no matter how long this quest of mine is going to last, hopefully one day I'll be able to achieve what I've set out for.

Went to have a heavenly breakfast of 'nasi sambal goreng' at Changi Beach with both my parents. Accompanied by the lush stroke of the wind and the relentless arrows of the tropical heat. Not forgetting to take some shots which included these flight of beasts that flew overhead with their Rolls-Royce engines roaring along.
